The Ecolift and Pecolift are designed with user well-being in mind whilst working at height safely. An ergonomic design allows users to work comfortably over longer periods of time. Climbing up and down steps, overreaching and overstretching is eliminated.

JLG has performed an ergonomic test comparing traditional methods, such as ladders and podiums, to the Pecolift. The test was done in conjunction with DorsaVi (www.dorsavi.com) using the latest sensors and algorithms that were developed for measuring muscle activity during athletic performance.

In this case, the sensors were placed on the lower back of an operator so that electronic muscle activity and lower back movement could be measured. Each work at height solution was used in the same tasks at three different work locations and at varied working heights. Data from the sensors were analyzed by DorsaVi and the results were presented to JLG.
The results demonstrated that the Pecolift reduced lower back muscle activity and poor postures significantly.
